I never mentioned the coma in the first place- but the fact is, recent news about it has put me in a rage.

He’s gotten better of course- sitting up, though he’s sleeping for the most part.

Basically, yesterday, he seemingly passed out on his ferry for no reason. He was rushed to the hospital, stabilized, but no one was able to figure out how he’d fallen asleep- or even why.

Perfectly ‘fine’, but unable to wake up.

Now that he’s been able to stay awake long enough to eat a meal (more like inhale apparently), we find out THIS:

‘It appears that Andrew was extremely tired because he wasn’t able to sleep in the hotel room - his cough was bothering him and he took a cold pill that one of the kids offered - they are in the process of tracking this “friend” down as it is felt that it was probably not a cold pill which then means (to the staff here anyway) it was a deliberate assault and could possibly be termed attemped murder - he was originally at a 3 and 0 is dead.  In Andrew’s mind he still had a cold pill from a helpful friend and he was just really tired.  Complicating factors include the fact that they feel he has a concussion from whatever caused the bruising all down the left side of his face and that is increasing his confusion.

So someone may or may not have tried to murder my brother, whose biggest ‘crime’ is not doing the dishes when we ask him to.

Why is the world hell guys. Just.

Why. My brother’s only THIRTEEN, just like all his classmates including whoever gave him this cold pill. What the hell.
